Sand Dollar began in the spring of 1993. The company first began selling "Do-it-Yourself" repair kits to surf shops throughout the West Coast, Texas, and even some locations on the East Coast. After a couple of years, and just as many flaky sales reps, we started fixing surfboards for Santa Cruz Surf Shop. As the quality of our work improved, we became so busy that the "Do-it-Yourself" repair kits were abandoned altogether.
